Ashley Valentin Gonzalez

Ashley is a first-generation student, environmentalist, and creator from Logan Heights, majoring in Environmental Studies, minoring in Business Administration at the University of San Diego. She is always advocating for environmental justice in her community by serving as a Portside steering committee member for the Air Protection Program (AB 617) or volunteering with Barrio Logan Environmental Health Coalition. These roles allow her to enhance the voices of Logan residents and bring light to the detrimental effects of environmental racism that her community is facing.
